Domo arigato Mr. Roboto

This is one of my favorite signal ads of all time. A huge traffic directing robot. From his aggressive stance, straddling traffic in the middle of the road, we can assume that he is a vengeful automaton, stomping on jay walkers and punting traffic offenders into the next county.
What I really find curious is the signal that makes up his torso. Looks a little like a Tokheim porthole (right hand hinges, left hand catches). Did Tokheim sell off their traffic signal division to Eagle at some point? UPDATE: The pictured robosignal torso is a Harrington-Seaberg.
